This is a project which was planned, created, and completed while at Southern Utah University, 2017-2018. My desire was to learn a new personal skill, that of decorating cake's with fondant. I wanted to see if I could take the skills I had learned from sculpting clay and create something new. So I went to work. I studied, planned, and baked a two-layer cake, completing the project with a jungle theme decoration. Throughout the process I learned so much more than how to decorate a cake, I learned things about myself. I found that even though everything didn't go exactly like I thought it would, I was able to figure out ways around the problems. I realized that if I really put my mind to something I can achieve it. Like I mentioned there were ups and downs during the project and if you want to see a little more about that, I've included some of the step by step processes I went through to complete my masterpiece.
